Introduction to BHN's new CEO

Andrea McLeod


We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrea McLeod as the new CEO of Better Health Network (BHN). Andrea commences in December 2024 and brings a wealth of experience to the role, having recently served as CEO of Windana, where she successfully led a merger, developed a new Strategic Plan, and implemented key improvements to enhance the client experience. Her extensive leadership background spans multiple sectors across Australia and New Zealand, including public health, aged care, disability, rehabilitation, and community health services.
 
Andrea’s career began as a Midwife, where she developed a deep appreciation for client-centred care. Over the years, she has held various leadership roles that have allowed her to foster organisational growth, improve service delivery, and create collaborative working environments. Andrea holds postgraduate qualifications in Women’s Studies, Health Services Management, and Rehabilitation, and is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Services Management. Her notable achievements include leading successful mergers of not-for-profit organisations, implementing technology solutions to improve client outcomes, and spearheading organizational transformation programs.
